What do brands like Porsche, Alessi and Miele and actor George Clooney have in common? They have all expressed their attachment to Nesspresso coffee machines. Nothing less.
The name Nesspresso is a combination of the words Nestle and espresso and is a subsidiary of the Nestle group, located in Lausanne, Switzerland. Nesspresso offers machines that use special aluminum capsules. The coffee contained in the different capsules comes from around the world, with 16 varieties of coffee blends to choose from.
Designer Antoine Cahen revolutionized the history of espresso, by drawing coffee machines with clean, modern lines. Along with the unique design, there is also a technology that had never been used for coffee before: the capsule. A coffee extraction system releases the flavours and makes your life easier, with a multiplicity of coffee types and a variety of tastes. Nesspresso also has a sustainable development program (AAA Sustainable QualityTM), where 75% of the value of exported coffee is returned to small producers and their communities. You get a unique brand with distinctive branding: Nesspresso.
Since 1996, the brand has won numerous awards for its design. So much so that since 2005, Nespresso has organized a contest, The Nespresso Design Contest, which encourages young design students. Their ideas must not only involve machines; they must combine design, functionality and ease of use. The only limit is their imagination.
Selective and proud of it, the Nesspresso brand even has a club you can join, so that you can finally discover the true art of tasting coffee.
