Yamaha is a Japanese company, engaged in commercial activities in several industries: motorcycles, skidoos, seadoos, motors, music instruments, integrated circuits and consumer electronic devices. Originally founded in 1887 by a clockmaker to build organs, it diversified its activities in the automobile industry during the Second World War and has, since, become a multinational.
